about the artist
Elizabeth Crammond studied printmaking at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Saidye Bronfman Centre.
After many years in this discipline, she became interested in papermaking and attended workshops at Bennington College in Vermont and Lake Tahoe, California. She has regularly travelled to Banff, Alberta to work as an artist-in-residence. Elizabeth is a member of the Ontario Society of Artists, a past president and honorary member of the Society of Canadian Artists, and has served on the board of the John B. Aird Gallery in Toronto. As a member of the International Association of Papermakers and Paper Artists, she participates in meetings and exhibitions worldwide. She was also responsible for organizing their conference in Banff in 2005. Elizabeth is a member of the Art Tour Collective in Toronto. Her participation includes
